Brazilian dance music star Alok joins forces with British band Bastille in the new single "Run Into Trouble", released by Positiva / Universal Music.
"Run Into Trouble", which is inspired by an elegant, dance-pop atmosphere, combines the instantly recognizable voice of Dan Smith of the Bastille with soft synthesizers and a seductive house bass.
"I've been a fan of Bastille music from the beginning and it was a very fun experience to be able to work with Dan and the kids on 'Run Into Trouble'!" states Alok.
"We wanted to create something that represents the style of both of us, but at the same time leaning on each other's sound and pushing the song a little deeper. Dan really set fire to the vocals and we hope you all enjoy what we have created! "
The Bastille says about the collaboration: "We are big fans of the sad bangers that make you cry on the dancefloor and we had a great time when we brought this song to life with ALOK. We love the euphoria he brought to this song and we look forward to playing it live during the summer. "
"Run Into Trouble" is the Bastille's first release since their recent album "Give Me The Future", which was released in February and won No. 1. 1 in the United Kingdom, while Alok recently performed a sold out concert at the famous "Ministry of Sound" in London.
Alok and Dan Smith also have a common interest in climate action, with Dan recently writing the music for the upcoming Oscar-winning film "Devil's Breath," and Alok appearing in Global Citizen concert.
"Run Into Trouble", a collaboration between world stars that penetrates the musical genres, brings truly dazzling results.
