Katy Perry talks about the need that motivated her to create her own line of soft drinks.

The singer recently released "De Soi", a series of sparkling soft drinks and joked telling "People" that she ended up with soft drinks because she can not stand alcohol as well as in the past.
"Well, I'm 37, so I definitely can not drink like I did in my 20s," he said with a laugh.
"On a daily basis, if I drink one or two (alcoholic beverages) I will lose the next one or two days. So I like to have a little self-control on weekdays and then have dinners with friends and such on weekends or when I'm not working. "But in fact it is a matter of balance," he explained.
Katy Perry added that she goes through "phases" where she either consumes or abstains from alcohol and said that sometimes she abstains when she wants to be focused, but other times she thinks it is not a "big deal" to drink.
"Sometimes I do not drink and I am very focused. "And then sometimes I say it's not that important," he said.
Katy Perry said she created (in collaboration with Morgan McLachlan) the "De Soi" brand, whose name in French means "pleasure with self-control", so that people can have fun without losing control.
"There is a lot of pleasure, but there is still a lot of self-control, which is at the top of my list of goals for the new year," he said.
"De Soi" was released earlier this month in three flavors - Golden Hour, Champignon Dreams and Purple Lune - available in ready-made boxes or bottles.
Each of the flavors is rich in fresh ingredients. Purple Lune has notes of raspberry nectar, vanilla oak and rose petals, Champignon Dreams has an earthy flavor with strawberry and grapefruit spirits and Golden Hour consists of warm citrus, lemongrass and leafy herbs.
"I love herbs. I love alchemy. I love wellness. And I love the feel of some of these different adaptive herbs contained in the drinks. The ingredients of some of these herbs will help you improve your mood or help you relax at night ", added Katy Perry.
A fan of non-alcoholic beverages already on the market, the pop star said: "I always wanted to bring something to this space with my own touch. This is how "De Soi" was born.
The "De Soi" product line is vegan, gluten free, without genetically modified organisms and does not contain artificial flavors or colors.
