Pink is celebrating nearly two decades of marriage with her husband, Carey Hart. The Cover Me In Sunshine singer took to social media to share a touching tribute, reflecting on their 19-year journey since tying the knot in 2006.
The 45-year-old pop star expressed gratitude for the "chance" they took when they exchanged vows on a beach in Costa Rica:
"Nineteen years ago on a beach in Costa Rica, we both took a chance we weren’t sure we even believed in," she wrote. "I’m so glad we did. I’ve been with you longer than I haven’t. You’ve been my one constant. You have loved me, hated me, and loved me again. I love our story no matter what gets written. It is gritty and sweet. Thank you for being by my side all these years. I love you forever."
Carey, 49, shared his own anniversary message on Instagram, reflecting on their journey together:
"Nineteen years married today to this amazing woman @pink," he wrote. "For over 20 years, we’ve traveled the world, made a family, and created amazing memories and a life together. Not bad for a couple of kids who weren’t expected to amount to anything. You are like a fine wine, and I love you."
A Love Story Built on Growth
Pink and Carey first met in 2001 and began dating shortly afterward. The motocross racer proposed in 2005, and they wed a year later in Costa Rica. Their relationship hit a rough patch in 2008, leading to a brief separation. However, the couple credits couples counseling with helping them strengthen their bond and improve their communication.
Today, they are proud parents to two children: 12-year-old daughter Willow and 8-year-old son Jameson.
As they mark this milestone, Pink and Carey’s heartfelt messages stand as a testament to their enduring love, resilience, and the power of growth in their relationship.
