After weeks of waiting, DaBaby started the new year with the brand new single "Masterpiece".
The 29-year-old rapper shared an excerpt of the song in a video he posted on Instagram in December, but the exact release date of "Masterpiece" remained a mystery until the song was released these days by Interscope Records / Universal on digital platforms.
The "Masterpiece", produced by D.A. Got That Dope, is a song in the classic style of DaBaby, with the rapper referring to the lyrics of the single in love, in luxury cars and his enemies.
However, DaBaby's response through the first stanza of "Masterpiece" to the tragic incident in which he was involved in November 2018 is attracting attention.
