Drake and 21 Savage's new album drops this week.
Drake and 21 Savage announced in the video for 'Jimmy Cooks' that they will be releasing a new joint album titled 'Her Loss'.
The two rappers recently collaborated on the song "Jimmy Cooks" from Drake's surprise album "Honestly, Nevermind," which was released in June.
'Her Loss' will be released on Friday 28th October. Until now, the number of songs that the album will contain is not known.
The new Mahfuz Sultan-directed video for "Jimmy Cooks" features both Drake and 21 Savage, but only Drake's first part is included. It is not known if a longer video featuring 21 Savage will follow.
During the video, the phrase "Her Loss, Drake and 21 Savage's album, October 28, 2022" appears, subtly announcing their joint album.
Both OVO Sound and Republic Records tweeted out stills from the 'Her Loss' album announcement, confirming the news.
"Jimmy Cooks," apparently an ode to Drake's role as Jimmy Brooks on "Degrassi: The Next Generation," is the only collaboration on the "Honestly, Nevermind" album.
In addition to “Jimmy Cooks,” Drake and 21 Savage have previously collaborated on “Knife Talk” along with Project Pat from “Certified Lover Boy,” on “Mr. Right Now' from 'Savage Mode II' and 2016's 'Sneakin''.
"Jimmy Cooks" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 over the summer, becoming Drake's eleventh Hot 100 No. 1 and 21 Savage's second.
Drake also surprised his audience when he showed up unannounced at a 21 Savage concert in Atlanta last Wednesday (10/19) to perform their 'Jimmy Cooks' collaboration on stage together, but didn't reveal news of the new album their.
