Bruno Mars - Dance With Me

Bruno Mars brings Karol G into the romantic world of “Dance With Me,” the closing track from his album The Romantic. Released with a new music video on October 1, the visual turns the song into an old-fashioned serenade filled with pay phones, balconies, fireworks and playful chemistry between the two stars.

Bruno Mars has given “Dance With Me” a full cinematic treatment, recruiting Karol G for a music video that leans directly into the song’s romantic tone. The track appears on The Romantic, Mars’ first solo album in nearly a decade, and closes the record with the kind of sweeping, affectionate mood that has long been central to his songwriting.

The video opens with Mars alone, strumming an electric guitar while singing into a pay phone. On the other end of the line, Karol G appears in bed, dressed in lace and listening as the serenade begins to unfold. The setup immediately gives the visual a deliberately old-school quality, combining classic romantic imagery with the polished presentation expected from both artists.

Mars eventually leaves the phone booth and makes his way to Karol G’s location, where the scene grows into a full balcony serenade. Backed by a complete band, he performs from below while Karol watches from above. The moment gradually builds until she comes downstairs and jumps into Mars’ arms as fireworks fill the sky.

The final sequence keeps things simple and affectionate. Mars and Karol G look into each other’s eyes as the video comes to a close, giving “Dance With Me” a warm ending that fits naturally with the title of The Romantic and the wider mood of the album.

Karol G’s appearance also adds a playful layer to the release. Just days earlier, Mars had jokingly reacted to footage of Drake dancing with her during a surprise appearance at her Houston concert. Mars responded with a dramatic social post saying he needed to “get her back,” turning the new video into a lighthearted continuation of that joke.

The collaboration is not their first musical connection. Mars and Karol G previously teamed up on “Still,” an English-language synth-pop ballad from her sixth studio album, No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto. The track reached No. 41 on the Billboard Hot 100, while the album debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200.

They also performed “Still” together live when Mars made a surprise appearance during Karol G’s August 15 concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

For Mars, “Dance With Me” arrives during a successful new era. The Romantic debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, while “Dance With Me” opened at No. 42 on the Hot 100. With Karol G joining the video, the song now gets a visual that fully embraces its nostalgic, theatrical and unmistakably romantic character.
