Rising singer Mimi Webb presents her new single 'Ghost Of You' and announces the release of her first full-length album, entitled 'Amelia'.
'Ghost Of You' is a combination of Mimi Webb's powerful voice, her enchanting melodies and the spirit of a past love. The song is written by Mimi and Phil Plested and produced by Stuart Price.
In the music video for 'Ghost Of You', directed by Fa and Fon Watkins, Mimi Webb walks proudly through London as she says goodbye to memories of her ex and heals her broken heart.
The power-pop song was warmly received by the media, with Consequence of Sound noting: "'Ghost of You' authentically harnesses the energy of the early 2000s... to create a transcendent quality in both song and music video".
Meanwhile, Mimi Webb announces that her first full-length album, entitled 'Amelia', will be released by Epic Records / Sony Music on March 3, 2023.
“Announcing my first album is such an important moment in my career that honestly, sometimes I wasn't even sure it was going to happen. But after three years of hard work, I can't wait to share this work with all of you who have helped me get to where I am today," says the 22-year-old British singer.
"The album is called 'Amelia', my full first name, as there are two sides of me that I want people to know," she explains.
"There's Amelia, the UK country girl who likes to be at home with her family, friends and dogs - and Mimi, the pop artist who likes to be on stage and travel around the world," he continues.
“It was important to me to capture that duality with songs written for both of these girls, and I'm excited for you all to get to know them!” she says.
In addition, Mimi Webb will be embarking on 'The Amelia Tour' following the release of her debut album, making stops across Europe and the UK.
The tour will kick off on March 11 in Madrid, Spain and continue with stops in Berlin, Oslo, Paris, Manchester and other cities before concluding on April 24 at London's O2 Academy Brixton.
Mimi Webb is currently on her first North American tour.
She recently completed her first European tour and participated in Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee concert with Elton John. He also accompanied Justin Bieber in his concerts in Norway and Finland.
In just two years, Mimi Webb has amassed over 730 million streams and released hits including 'House on Fire' and 'Good Without'.
Mimi Webb shows no signs of slowing down as she prepares to release her debut album.
